FAQs
-
DenaVe is widely recognized for effectively treating facial vascular and pigmented issues, including: rosacea and persistent facial flushing, broken capillaries and facial telangiectasia/spider veins, cherry angiomas, and bruising.
-
DenaVe treatments are significantly more comfortable than traditional laser procedures. We provide a numbing cream applied one hour prior to treatment to reduce discomfort. Patients typically feel a mild snapping or warming sensation.
-
Most patients return to normal activities and can apply makeup the following day. Most experience mild pinkness, warmth, or slight swelling similar to a minor sunburn. Targeted spots or vessels may temporarily darken before fading away naturally.
-
Isolated spots may vanish in 1 to 2 sessions. Widespread redness or chronic rosacea generally requires 3 to 4 treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.
-
Overall redness and hyperpigmentation clear gradually over a period of 2 to 3 weeks after each treatment.
-
DenaVe is a focused 585 nanometer (nm) laser that targets blood vessels and spots directly. IPL uses broad-spectrum light to treat general surface tone over a larger area. DenaVe’s specific wavelength targets hemoglobin directly, making it much more powerful and precise for visible veins, cherry angiomas, and persistent redness.
